Jacqueline L. and Eric Gratz

An Endowment for Lifelong Learning

Jacqueline and Eric Gratz

Jacqueline and Eric Gratz

In recognition of their more than 20-year commitment to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (Osher) at Towson University and dedication to the pursuit of lifelong learning, Jacqueline L. and Eric K. Gratz are giving, through their estate, a gift to establish the Jacqueline L. and Eric K. Gratz Endowment for Lifelong Learning. Their estate gift will ensure that Osher continues its programmatic excellence for future adult learners.

Jackie and Eric are Charter members of the lifelong learning program at Towson University. Before becoming the Osher Institute, the program at Towson University was known as the Auburn Society.

Under Jackie's leadership, initially as a volunteer chairperson of the curriculum committee and eventually as director of Osher, she implemented a bold and exciting curriculum that kept attracting new members. The program grew from 250 to 700 members with a robust schedule of classes.

Eric participated regularly in the program as a volunteer instructor, teaching popular courses on films. He also served as chair of the Classroom Facilitation Committee and was a member of the Coordinating Council. Both Jackie and Eric enjoy taking a number of courses at Osher as members.

You, like Jackie and Eric, can use your estate plan to continue your support of Towson University and our students. Contact Kathleen Hider at (410) 704-6287 or khider@towson.edu to learn more.
